Making Hard to Recycle Plastics History

Did you know this week New Zealand took a step forward in its planned phase out of plastics? Check out the range of products this applies to below. The first phase was getting rid of plastic bags at stores like supermarkets that occured on 1 July 2019. These simple changes, with workable alternatives at the ready, illustrate how quickly we changes like this can quickly become the norm. The next phase, occuring in mid-2023, targets plastic straws before a full phase out of all plastic and pvc food and beverage packaging in 2025.
